Tour the home of America’s poet, Carl Sandburg and visit Conemara Farms Goat Dairy. The 30-minute guided tour of the home includes over 65,000 artifacts on display and gives a glimpse into the lives of the Sandburg family. Tours are offered daily, except Christmas day. The fee is $5.00 for adults age 17-61, and $3.00 for adults age 62 and older. Tours begin at 9:30am; the last tour departs at 4:30pm. Tours are limited to 15 visitors. From Memorial Day until October and weekends throughout the year, tours are offered every half an hour. November through Memorial Day, tours are offered once an hour on the half-hour only. Though the goat dairy is no longer operational, kids will love visiting with the goats and viewing other farm animals.
